Waking life in all that is mortal.
You the pole, the summit
King of Kings,
Law of Laws,
And avenger
Angelic light,
Are adored,
Prais'd
And acclaimed
And lov'd
By celestial legions.  

You God
The hero,
Radiant flow'r,
Dew of life,
Reign over us,
Save us,
Lead us to true joys.
You honor
And virtue,
You are the just
And the true,
You, the holy
And the good,
The righteous
And the sov'reign
