March 26 — World Premiere of
God is my Salvation for double SATB choir and two trumpets by the Kansas City Chorale, under the direction of Charles Bruffy. This piece was composed especially for this Easter concert at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The Kansas City area’s musical pride and joy, the Kansas City Chorale, returns to perform its much-lauded Easter Saturday concert. The 24-artist Chorale, led by artistic director Charles Bruffy, earns its reputation as a word-class ensemble through live performances and numerous recordings which have received rave reviews nationwide.
