for double SATB choir and two trumpets by the
Kansas City Chorale, under the direction of Charles Bruffy. This
piece was composed especially for this Easter concert at the
Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The Kansas City area’s musical pride
and joy, the Kansas City Chorale, returns to perform its much-lauded
Easter Saturday concert. The 24-artist Chorale, led by artistic
director Charles Bruffy, earns its reputation as a word-class
ensemble through live performances and numerous recordings which
have received rave reviews nationwide.
